WILD & WISE
The Love School Homeschool Collective
Kindergarten–2nd Grade | Monday to Friday 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
As our children grow, their curiosity expands, matching their deepening desire to understand the world and discover their place within it.
Their interests become gateways into nature, the changing seasons, family, ancestors, mythology, science, the fine and performing arts, history, handwork, tinkering, building, storytelling, literacy, numeracy, music, and the many ways we are both unique and deeply connected. Each new question opens the door to another, allowing learning to unfold naturally through meaningful investigation, creativity, and lived experience.

One of the great gifts of homeschooling is that we are not rushed.
We have the freedom to follow curiosity, to study deeply, to complete meaningful and ongoing projects, and to allow learning to become part of a richly lived life.

Mama Claudia's way of teaching begins with inquiry.
Learning Begins with Inquiry
What are the children interested in?
What are the teachers genuinely curious about?
What is alive in the season, on the land, in the world, in our community, and within ourselves?

Whenever one person develops a deep interest, that curiosity has the potential to draw us all into a shared investigation.
We are not only learning facts. We are learning how to deepen our learning, how far we can wonder, and how much a subject can reveal when we give it our full attention.
Creativity as Part of Learning

Artistic projects naturally grow out of our studies, the changing seasons, and the children’s own interests.
They are given time to unfold into something real, beautiful, and meaningful, often culminating in seasonal celebrations, while both honoring and surpassing the need to simply reach predetermined academic milestones.
Learning Together & Following Individual Passions

At Wild & Wise, we are learning together. We are co-creating, collaborating, studying, exploring, and inspiring one another, while also leaving space for each child, as they grow, to pursue their own personal inquiries and passions through an individualized curriculum. Our enlivening approach allows children to meet and often exceed academic expectations through the rich investigation of something they genuinely care about.

A single subject, followed deeply, can open doors into writing, research, mathematics, science, history, culture, entrepreneurship, art, communication, and a greater understanding of the world.
Nurturing the Whole Child

When children learn in such an environment, they retain their innate sense of wonder and curiosity, their sovereignty, dignity, and joy.
They begin to recognize their own genius and their capacity to become thoughtful stewards of the Earth, their communities, and their own lives.
The social and emotional component is equally important to us, for it allows every child’s self confidence, curiosity, self discipline, creativity, compassion, practical skills, sense of wonder, and unique gifts to flourish.

We believe these qualities form the foundation of a fulfilling, meaningful, and well lived life.
Held in Relationship & Community

Our Dream Team & Specialists
Mama Claudia feels deeply grateful for the immense presence of our Dream Team and specialists. Their collective experience and gifts bring such beautiful dimensions to our days: handwork, rhythm, the experience of beginning, persevering, and completing meaningful tasks, an appreciation for the seasons, beauty and reverence, and many different approaches to the same subject.
Together they inspire our children to uncover their own unique voice and genius.
Our relationships create a feeling of school as a natural extension of home.
We place great emphasis on creating an environment that connects us deeply to ourselves, our families, our community, and the natural world.
Together, our Dream Team, our carefully chosen specialists, and Mama Claudia’s decades of experience through The Love School create a rich tapestry rooted in conscious living, nature inspired education, emotional intelligence, creativity, global awareness, and honoring the sacredness of childhood.

The Land as Teacher

The land itself becomes one of our greatest teachers, inviting observation, stewardship, wonder, and relationship.
Wherever we are, we honor the land beneath our feet as a living presence, allowing it to shape our learning through the seasons, beauty, imagination, curiosity, and direct experience.
This is beautifully complemented through weekly field trips, most often into nature, while also exploring museums, concert halls, theatres, gardens, cultural centres, and places of scientific and historical significance.

Our Global Village
Our Global Village Program allows us to experience other cultures through meaningful relationships with members of our own community and the wider community, who share stories of themselves, their families, their traditions, and what it was like growing up on their native lands.
Together we celebrate both our uniqueness and all that we have in common.

Our Place Within the Living World
Throughout every exploration, we return to one of the greatest stories ever told: that everything we see has emerged from the immense life of the stars.

We, along with all living things, are made of stardust.

We share common ancestors with the plants, the animals, and all life on Earth.By understanding where we came from, we begin to understand who we are, our place within the living world, and the responsibility and privilege of helping to steward its future.

TESTIMONIAL

"The Love School feels like chicken soup for the soul. In this gentle, nurturing place, with Mama Claudia at the helm, there is a tangible goodness that surrounds the children each day, helping them grow, flourish, and feel deeply loved.
There are also quieter blessings, harder to name and impossible to measure ahead of time. Among them is the welcoming, authentic sense of community that holds not only the children, but the parents as well. This shared space of connection is a rare and precious part of The Love School, and it feels truly irreplaceable.
Coming here each day simply feels good. Belonging is felt, relationships are tended, and hearts are met with care. My children and I continue to blossom in this circle of warmth, connection, and love."
