At The Love School's Nature PlayGarden, we honor childhood as a time of wonder, discovery, and joyful belonging. Children are given the time, space, and gentle guidance to play deeply, imagine freely, build meaningful relationships, and develop a genuine connection with the natural world.
Early Childhood | Ages 6 months–5 years

Each day invites children to create, collaborate, care for the earth, make music, tell stories, build, invent, wonder, ask questions, investigate the natural world through science and engineering explorations, solve real problems, and discover the joy of learning through meaningful experiences.

THE RHYTHM OF OUR DAYS
Our days unfold with a comforting rhythm that balances active exploration and creativity with moments of quiet, reflection, or well needed rest.
Children participate in the meaningful work of caring for one another and their environment which often includes preparing meals, baking nutritious snacks, setting the table, washing their own dishes, tending the garden, and helping care for our shared spaces. These gentle, purposeful tasks cultivate independence, responsibility, gratitude, confidence, and a deep sense of belonging.
What a Typical Day Feels Like
Children arrive to warm greetings and the freedom to settle naturally into the morning through an inviting environment that inspired play, creativity, meaningful work, and connection with friends.

Throughout the day, songs signal gentle transitions as children move between creative projects, nature exploration, practical life activities, storytelling, movement, shared meals, and abundant outdoor play. There is space for wonder, quiet moments, joyful collaboration, and spontaneous discovery.
Afternoons unfold at an unhurried pace with rest, reflection, continued exploration, and opportunities to care for one another and our shared environment before families gather once again.
