At Nature's PlayGarden, we honor childhood as a time of wonder, discovery, and joyful belonging.
Children are given the time, space, and gentle guidance to play deeply, imagine freely, build meaningful relationships, and develop a genuine connection with the natural world.
We believe children thrive when they are deeply seen, genuinely loved, and trusted to explore at their own pace.
Early Childhood | Ages 6 months–5 years
THE RHYTHM OF OUR DAYS
Our days unfold with a comforting rhythm, balancing active exploration and creativity with moments of quiet, reflection, or well needed rest.
Children arrive to warm greetings and the freedom to settle naturally into play, creativity, meaningful work, and connection with friends.
Throughout the day, songs gently carry us from one experience to another, nature exploration, art, music, storytelling, movement, gardening, cooking, practical life, shared meals, and abundant outdoor play.
There is space for wonder, joyful collaboration, and spontaneous discovery.
Learning Through Life
Children learn through meaningful experiences and through participating in the life of their community.
They prepare food, bake, set the table, wash their dishes, tend to the garden and care for their shared spaces. They build, invent, create, ask questions and investigate the natural world through science and engineering.
Life itself becomes the classroom.
These everyday experiences nurture curiosity, creativity, independence, confidence, responsibility and belonging.
Rooted in Nature
The children are surrounded by thoughtfully chosen natural materials, beautiful spaces, and open-ended invitations to create, explore, and imagine.
Throughout the year, we celebrate the changing seasons through stories, songs, art, gardening, festivals, and nature walks, helping children develop a deep relationship with the rhythms of the natural world and their place within it.
Caring for the Whole Child
Our experienced mentors and specialists guide each child with warmth, attentiveness, and respect.
We recognize that every child and family is unique. Familiar nap rhythms dietary preferences and individual developmental needs are honored wherever possible, creating a gentle bridge between home and school.
Children in diapers are warmly welcomed and supported through each stage of development with patience, dignity, and loving care.
