Rites of Passage for Our Times
Pre-teen & Teen Program
Ages 10-14 | Wednesdays 3:00 - 5:00 PM
Rites of Passage for Our Times offers young people a warm, welcoming space to grow, connect and explore what it means to move through the changing seasons of life.
The years between childhood and adolescence can bring big questions, new freedoms and a growing sense of self. This program gives young people the time, guidance and support to meet these changes with greater self-awareness, confidence, independence and connection.
Through honest conversation, creative exploration, time in nature, practical experiences and shared challenges, participants are invited to discover their strengths, reflect on who they are becoming and consider how they want to meet the world.
The program makes room for the questions that matter most:
Who am I becoming?
What is a friend?
How do I want to show up for my family?
What are my bottom lines for any relationship?
What do I care about?
What are my gifts and responsibilities?
How can I contribute to my community?
What is my purpose?
What does it mean to grow into
greater freedom and responsibility?

Together, the group builds trust, courage and a strong sense of belonging. Young people are encouraged to listen deeply, speak honestly, support one another and take an active role in shaping their experience.
Across the season, they may explore storytelling, creative projects, nature connection, ritual, reflection, practical skills and meaningful group experiences. These shared moments give young people space to mark their growth, celebrate what makes them unique and strengthen the relationships that help them feel supported as they find their way.
Rites of Passage for Our Times offers young people the time, guidance and community to grow with awareness, confidence and joy.
TESTIMONIAL

"The Love School feels like chicken soup for the soul. In this gentle, nurturing place, with Mama Claudia at the helm, there is a tangible goodness that surrounds the children each day, helping them grow, flourish, and feel deeply loved.
There are also quieter blessings, harder to name and impossible to measure ahead of time. Among them is the welcoming, authentic sense of community that holds not only the children, but the parents as well. This shared space of connection is a rare and precious part of The Love School, and it feels truly irreplaceable.
Coming here each day simply feels good. Belonging is felt, relationships are tended, and hearts are met with care. My children and I continue to blossom in this circle of warmth, connection, and love."
